I have a pen pal who lives in the Côte d'Ivoire she is called Charlène she is so lovely and nice I sometimes have trouble understanding her because she writes old French. She has an Aunt who lives in my village. She is so nice. Charlène has short black hair and dark skin.

I have another friend but she lives in Paris and in fact she is Charlène 's cousin. She is also very nice.When she came to see her Aunt she came to play with me almost every day. Because as she lives in Paris she had never seen sheep, cows, chickens, and she went to play with the lamb. We had trouble getting her out of the sheep pen!

16th November 2006. 

Hier je suis allé faire du cheval j'ai monter une jument qui s'appelle Kalypso, elle etait de mauvaise humeur elle n'était pas sortit depuis mercredi dernier car elle était malade alors elle as jouer des petit tours sur moi : Quand je suis passer devant les rayon de soleil elle a galoper jusqu'a l'autre côte du manège. Quand on a fait la détente au galop elle etait beaucoup plus calme alors elle a mériter une long brosse et quelque bissous.

Pendant les vacance d'hiver le moniteur a dit que je pourrait passer mon galop 3. Je suis trop contente que je puise le passer Bon je vais y aller.

11th November 2006. 

Last Wednesday I went riding and I had a lovely stallion. He has got a lovely shiny coat and his mane is so beautiful, it blows in the wind when I gallop.

Our cats never stay together. One of them, we found her in a wall when she was a kitten (in our first school) The second one, we found him on the road when he was a kitten and the two last ones, my sister's friend gave them to us because her cat had  had kittens and they were sooooooooo naughty.
