To describe Mims as a disaster waiting to happen would not be right - she is, in fact, a disaster that has happend again and again!
Poor Mims, it would be more truthful to say that she is almost unbelievably accident prone and unlucky.
Fightened by a loud thunder storm when she was only a yearling, she tried to jump out of her stable and ripped open her abdomen on the stable door.
The following year, she was in the field when she was, agiain, frightened by a ...> |

Her tendency to get herself into trouble isn't helped by the fact that she is as dim as she is beautiful. Who else could collide with a tree and get part of a branch stuck in her head? Who else would have the bad luck to be treated by a vet who had drunk a bit too much and stiched up the wound with a 2" piece of wood left in it? |
